Shanghai Opera String Quartet at work.. recording my new album

These guys were incredible - we were prepared to spend a whole day in the studio recording four tracks with them. John Altman wrote the arrangements and these arrangements aren't simple..! worth an Oscar nominee, naturally. Imagine our shock when they walked in, saw the score first time ever, did not even rehearse and walked out after not even one hour .. They played perfectly and took perfect takes first time x
